Catalyst Group

Catalyst is a dynamic community of single adults (18-25ish) committed to developing genuine friendships and nurturing Christ-centered living. We hold as a priority the need to reach out to the greater community and serve as Christ served, both locally and globally.  Our Life Group is currently determining the most effective time for us to meet. Please return to find the time when we will be meeting. Sundays at 9:30 to 10:15am.

Women's Ministry

We invite women of all ages to connect with each other in learning, encouragement and prayer. A Women's Life Groups meeting on Wednesday mornings at 9:30AM is a good place to start.

Men's Ministry

Where Relevant Faith Meets Real Life!

Our theme is not unique but it accurately captures our goal.  Our focus is to encourage men to live our lives being authentic as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God.  We desire men to grow and develop in their relationship with God, to be spiritual leaders of their homes and to influence their world for the mission of Christ.

McDermot Mens Ministry is a place where men can connect with other men over breakfast and God's Word to encourage spiritual transformation.  We want to create opportunities for friendship and service throughout the year.

Meetings on the first Saturdays of the month from 8:00am-9:00am.

Youth Ministry

Youth in grades 7 to 12 are invited to come and participate in events designed to instill biblical truths through fun challenging activities and applicable, motivating devotional discussions.  The goal is to create a community where youth are discipled to love and serve Jesus Christ and are encouraged to build strong and positive relationships with their peers, encouraging each other in their daily lives.

Worship Ministry

Psalm 96:1-3- "Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!"

At McDermot, worship is more than lyrics on a screen, or music to be played. We strive for worship to be our lifestyle, where we praise and serve God in all aspects of our lives because of His amazing grace. We are called to ‘worship in spirit and truth’ (John 4:24), and we engage corporately to praise our God every Sunday morning through music, listening and responding, Scripture reading, and giving. Through these avenues our prayer is that all who come can enter into His presence. Drama is an ever-growing aspect of our worship services, presented through monologues, short vignettes, or longer scripts.
